Albuquerque Fire Station Field Trip

Sparky- The fire dog.

A fire-fighter high 5

ABQ Firefighters

Caiden was so excited about his fire hat.

I was so bummed that Caiden wasn't looking at the camera. Oh well.
He is so easy to pick out, even if you can't see his sweet face.

Kawe is Caiden's best buddy... He looks a bit like Caiden's body guard.

I am constantly amazed at the amount of field trips that Caiden gets to be a part of. I was excited that I was also able to participate in this one as well.
I wasn't able to be in his class's group though, I was helping in another group.
This is why my pictures are pretty random. I was taking shots as our groups were passing.

Caiden and his cheesy grin. Also, little miss Layla.... I am surprised at how many pictures she seems to be in with Caiden... She is the girl that on one day Caiden wanted to punch her in the eye for being mean and the next day they were kissing during quite time... OH DEAR!!! He is four and already has girls chasing him.

~A Seussical Event~ WhoCakes with Green Eggs and Ham~

March is the month for celebrating and honoring the fabulous author, Dr. Seuss.
Caiden absolutely loved the party that we had and was so grateful that we could do something so fun for F.H.E.
We started out our party by cooking a whimsical meal of Whocakes and Green Eggs and Ham. Our Whocakes were topped with fresh: blueberries, bananas, strawberries, whipped cream and melted lemon frosting. Caiden was not sure if he would like Green Eggs so we read him the book and just like the main character, Caiden ended up loving them. Caiden also enjoyed repeating the story along with his dad. Green Eggs and Ham is one of his favorite books.
We had so much fun cooking together and creating such a colorful meal. The smile on Caiden's face truly shows the joy that he finds in the little memories that we are helping to make.
I love that we didn't let this moment pass by.

Starting out, these looked like a bio-hazard experiment.

Caiden finds so much joy in cooking- He is going to make one fabulous husband.

Amanda's Whocake creation. They were so yummy.
After our Who dinner, we watched the new 'Horton Hears a Who' DVD.
